We refuse to compromise on the quality of our Luxara mattresses just so that we can ship them in a box. Every handmade Luxara mattress is made to order, and due to the quality of the materials and construction it cannot be compressed and stuffed into a box for shipping. Instead, we deliver it factory-fresh and uncompressed.

Bed-in-a-box mattresses are compressed, shrink-wrapped, folded, then rolled into a cardboard box for shipping. While this allows bed-in-a-box companies to save on freight costs, it takes a severe toll on the integrity of the mattress by breaking down the cell structure of the foams. It can also result in uneven firmness and sinking support in some areas, reducing the overall lifespan of the mattress.
We believe your bed deserves better than being stuffed in a box. That’s why all Luxara mattresses come with free delivery and are never stuffed in a small shipping box.

All Luxara mattresses come with a 100 night sleep trial. During this time you can test your new mattress out in the comfort of your own home. You must try the mattress for a minimum of 30 nights from the date received, this will give your body the adequate time to adjust. If between, night 31-100 you still are not satisfied with your sleep, then let us know and we will arrange to collect your mattress.

If you aren't completely happy with your Luxara mattress during your 100-night home trial, just contact us. We’ll schedule a pick-up of your mattress and issue a refund for the purchase price to your original method of payment.

All of our mattresses are made to order and arrive to you factory fresh. That means the high-quality materials inside them need a little bit of time to soften up. You should notice your new mattress begin to conform to your body after a few days. You may even notice continuing improvement for up to a month.
Remember that your body will need some time to adjust to a brand new mattress. If you've been sleeping on an old mattress, your body likely got used to it, even if it didn't provide you with adequate support. That's why we give you a generous 100-night home trial to give you time to acclimate to your new mattress.
If after a month or so, you still feel that your mattress is too firm (or too soft), contact us and one of our friendly sleep guides will be happy to help you.

All Luxara mattresses can be rotated from head to foot. We recommend rotating the mattress after six months and then once a year after that. This will ensure that the surface of the mattress breaks in evenly.
Our Kids Flip mattress is dual-sided - one side for ages 3-7 and one side for ages 8-12 - and is designed to be flipped over based on the age of your child. Each side offers a different firmness level to support your child's growth for years.

As part of regular maintenance, vacuum your mattress at least twice a year to get rid of dust, crumbs, and any other dirt. You can also deodorize your mattress by generously sprinkling it with baking soda. Leave it on for a day and then vacuum it up to refresh your mattress.
Tip: Adding a mattress protector over your mattress gives it an added layer of protection from stains, moisture, and debris. Just make sure to wash your mattress protector regularly.

While a mattress protector isn't required, it's a great barrier against spills, stains, humidity, and sweat. If you do choose to use a mattress protector with your Luxara mattress, choose one that's made from a soft, breathable material like bamboo. We recommend our Luxara Waterproof Bamboo Mattress Protector.

All Luxara mattresses are covered in natural bamboo that is soft to the touch, breathable, and durable, as well as gentler on the environment. Our 100% bamboo material is also hypoallergenic and antimicrobial to promote cooler, healthier sleep.

The Luxara mattresses are built to last 10 to 15 years with normal use. We engineer our products with durability in mind, using high-gauge tempered steel for the support springs; high-density foams; sturdy construction; and Ultra-Fresh™ antimicrobial treatment that keeps the fabric and foams fresher longer. The innerspring mattress gets its name from the metal support springs that form the core of the bed. This traditional mattress type is known for its classic supportive, bouncy feel.

The main difference between an innerspring mattress and a foam mattress comes down to the materials. An innerspring has a core support system made of coiled metal springs and foam layers on top, while a foam mattress is made up only of layers of polyurethane foams.
Innerspring mattresses generally have a more supportive bouncy feel and also will transfer heat better than traditional foams to ensure superior airflow for a cooler sleep.

Generally speaking, spring count is a good indicator of the overall comfort, support, and durability that a mattress offers. The number of springs in a mattress also depends on its size.
The queen size of our Luxara Classic and Platinum Mattress features 740 individually pocketed springs that responds to your movements and limits motion transfer. Our Luxara Platinum Mattress also features an additional layer of 1280 individually encased micro pocket springs (in queen size).

Pocket springs are individually wrapped metal spring coils. The two main advantages to individually pocketed springs are 1) that they conform and respond to your curves better than open springs and 2) they limit motion transfer because the springs move independently.

Most innerspring mattresses are built with a single base layer of springs, covered by foam, fabric, or other padding. Dual-spring mattresses like the Luxara Platinum Mattress, on the other hand, have two layers of springs. On top of the 5-zone support springs layer is a thinner, more flexible layer of individually wrapped comfort micro springs.
Dual-spring construction has a couple of advantages. First, dual-spring systems are more durable and less likely to sag over time. Second, the extra layer of contouring springs provides added pressure relief and targeted support where you need it most, for a comfortable, supportive night's sleep.
